Target CPM for a MR

Just wondering what my target CPM should be, for a MR or otherwise?

It mostly depends on your market. But average is 3.5cpEQM or less before folks start considering it for a run.

mr's are done for eqm and/or rdm....the 3.5c/eqm quoted above would result in an under 2c/rdm for aa plt.....some do runs for rdm when the situation is right.....many, like me, have only done them for status....

whats an "otherwise"?....good luck...

My bar is 3c / elite mile and 1.5c for RDM miles.
I aim for that and at times do not make it but find it useful for target.

Depends on you really.

Most people on FT would agree that EQMs for less than $.02 and RDMs for less than $.01 are a good deal, but again, this is something that will vary from person to person.

I would submit that it can also depend on your home airport, and it's geography relative to the hub of the airline to which you are loyal.

EX: I live in San Diego and am loyal with Delta, so I'm usually flying through JFK or ATL. For me, a higher cpm is okay if I don't have to fly SAN-SLC-MEM-DTW-JFK and can just fly SAN-JFK. As always, Your Miles May Vary (YMMV)
