I tried registering this am and got an error message, called AA customer service and after speaking with the agent realized that the offer starts tomorrow and is the reason why I wasn't allowed to register....

According to the agent, AA got an overwhelming response last year and they decided to do it again this year, she sounded quite excited about the offer..

EXPLT here I come again.....:D

AA does not have a 24 hour cancellation; instead AA allows you to put a reservation on hold for 24 hours, but I had already booked the flight.

The chances of it happening again are slim to none.

Let me be the first UA guy to say

You certainly won't be the first one to say it :D ... just glance over to UA forum and you'll see speculations are rampant.

So which one is it? I am contemplating getting status on AA since I'll most likely hit UA 1K without the DEQM promo and knowing the answer to this would be helpful as this feature on UA has saved me more than once.

FWIW, UA also lets you put res on hold (theoretically for 47 hours and 59 minutes).

It is OPEN for REGISTRATION

It is ON! I am not sure if this is all known to FT members but ADDER is now open for registration. I did it this morning after I got back from my trip. Unfortunately, only trips book within the qualifying period are eligible for the DEQM. Good luck everyone.
