Thoughts or advice on this one? I'd LOVE to have a tool like this. |
I like this one a lot, too. It's in German, but if you follow the link, Google automatically translates it.

This AOW AMEX ITN Tool still works. It only shows revenue buckets, no award or upgrade availability. No registration required. There's even a seat map.
And you never know what currency the final price will show up in - SEK, NZD, it's all over the place. The base price is in USD, but the taxes and final price are generally in some other currency. I only use it to scout out bump possibilities. |

Thoughts or advice on this one? I'd LOVE to have a tool like this. Various seat buckets work, but the seat map is a java applet that I can not get to open. Maybe somone can solve this problem for both of us. Or just give a better site where everything works. |

This site was mentioned a few days ago on FT:
www.seatcounter.com Not sure how it works for all airlines. For UA, type in UA UA for the preferred airline and it comes up with award and upgrade availability. Thanks eo seatcounter I was able to get a 25,000 mile award on a UA flight when you had said there was no availabilty for saver awards between the two cities. |
There are 2 fairly comprehensive guides to the various tools. The first is here on flyertalk: http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=312559
The 2nd we host at http://flyaow.com/class.htm If you have any good tools to add let me know! Cheers! |
As of the last week, ITN is gone?

Excellent tip. Thanks!
https://www134.americanexpress.com/c...avel/travel.do Tried to search to see if this had been mentioned, but ITN is too short of a string to search on apparently? |
You can find the working link at: http://flyaow.com/class.htm
(Select AMEX ITN Tool) Visiting www.itn.net directly will not yield the fare buckets unless you register as an advanced user. The AMEX ITN Tool doesn't require registration. Cheers! |

since seatcounter.com appeared to be down today, I tried amex itn availability tool via flyaow, but it kept giving an error message that there was a problem. Am wondering if anyone has had the same problem?

Hello,
Can you please try http://flyaow.com/classamex.htm and let us know if it is working correctly for you now? I think I fixed the problem. Thank you! |

Unfortunately the bulk of the free availability checkers out there rely on a very old backend interface from ITN. As those backend interfaces dry up (websites getting updated to newer interfaces) the options become more and more limited.
There are a few non-ITN based tools available too. Details can be found at: http://flyaow.com/class.htm If you notice the current Amex tool goes does, please PM and let me know and we'll see what we can do to tweak and get a little extra life out of it. (But it will go away eventually I am fully confident unfortunately.) Cheers! |
