Does this price change time-to-time? I keep changing the date around it and hopefully they'll update the price

@seantheman @AirCanada881 - Thank you for checking! Late January ~ early Feb is perfect time for me to travel

I wonder if I should wait for Black Friday Sale? Would that be the same price but maybe more choices..? (like you know, right... hah)

Do you see if there is a chance to cancel the ticket in less than 24 hours for free? Or to fix the price for 24hours like Lufthansa do?

This fare is really tempting, but the hard product kills it for me. The footwell is tiny, though the seat on the A330s is OK I suppose, similar to TKs

Thank you guys! I finally followed your tips and successfully booked a ticket FRA-AKL at EUR1,462! CA really need to invest a bit more in their IT, I called their office yesterday, they said there is nothing they can do apart from trying again on their website, helpless really.

FRA is only 773 and 748. A B744 wasn‘t seen there for a long time and will surely no more in the future.

yes. perfect for family travel! i usually book A C and D seats in one row.

if you really need the direct aisle access, choose D & G seats in the middle

Had one of these booked for Jan. Needed to change the return date (which was still within the issued ticket rules). So I phoned CA European customer service centre. They put me on hold for a few minutes, then came back to me with a price of €3000 for the change!!! I pointed out that the ticket stated €80 each way for schedule change. "Ah, yes sir, but you booked a special promotional fare, and we have very limited availability for the date you want to return." I tried to argue that the fare rule is the fare rule, but we were going around in circles. So I said I wanted to cancel, and how much would it cost? They said the best way to do it was on the website, and it's €150 for the whole trip. We shall see.

i would have suspected 80 euros plus any difference in fare if you want to change. Do the fares rules say there is no difference in fare payable?

There was nothing at all on the ticket about having to pay any difference in fare, only the €80 change fee. BTW, I checked CA's website for availability before I phoned, and I could have booked a new one way ticket on the date I wanted for less than €2500 (still too expensive though).
