[PREM FARE GONE] QR from LAX: very cheap fares
It seems like QR is having ridiculously cheap fares to many destinations via DOH. Some book in D and some in I depending on the destination. Many dates available over the next few months. Samples:
LAX-IKA: $973 (this ought to be good news for the residents of Irangeles
)
LAX-TRV: $1722
LAX-ATH: $1876
LAX-TBS: $1155
LAX-SIN: $1681 (if you're okay connecting through DOH, although it might be a good mileage run on oneworld)
LAX-MNL: $1743 (again, flying the long route via DOH)
LAX-JNB: $2101

I am very inclined to use LAX-SIN hoping bloggers dont kill the deal by the time I replan my existing travels

Advise to those who are still thinking if they should book. Don't wait. Just use those OTA with free 24 hour holds to grab one first. Thats how I managed to secure my spot for the previous BKK-LAX $1490 fare. It was pulled at about 36 hours after it was posted.
