i'm not so sure about that. I've had some great MRs over the past few years including 2015.

Please explain how to earn cheap redeemable miles flying on UA post Mar 1 ... I'd like to replicate your success.

Of course another shoe is expected to drop(if it hasn't already) with the majors with award bidding, dynamic awards, .... that makes the harder to acquire cheaply miles worth possibly much less

CDKing Apr 22, 2015 7:24 am

It also helps in not just mileage runs but people looking for cheap vacation that don't have a set destination in mind

Kinda curious as to what happened in development.

I'm not sure OP has any plans on creating one. I think It's just a guise to get the blog link signature out there.

Remember there are other airlines out there than United

At this point, I'm afraid that I have to agree with you. Is that a violation of FT rules?

You're absolutely right. I'm sure he's referring to great EQM. I've had 2 great MR's and 1 that went horribly wrong, that made me a bunch of free RDM & PQD actually.

You want "cheap RDM", head over to the MS forum!

https://www.google.com/flights/

I agree that true MRs are largely history, but there are still needs for info of the sort that FareCompare helped with. For example, I must requalify for status this year, and I am 100K short of 1M miles, which is supposed to bring permanent Gold status, if they don't kill that too. So I'm still looking for cheap BIS, or at least "relatively" cheap ones.

(PS Can someone tell me what that yellow triangle with an exclamation sin icon represents?)

I seriously doubt that. I haven't seen a fare for 2 cpm or less for at least a couple of years.

Huh? Are you not counting error fares?

Doubt away. Then when you're finished, take a look at what you can earn with creative routing in premium cabins on AA if you're EXP with the 2015 Promotion Bonus.

Much smaller audience ... so unless the site developer was doing it for fun, not sure it makes $ense

I'm 60K from UA MM

;)

That only provides RDMs, not EQMs. Still no 2 cents per EQM.

True; but I make EXP on BIS miles, anyway. I'm more concerned about spendable miles.

Can you explain how such new "enhancements" would work?

There's a thread on the UA forum.

Details aren't public and who knows, the reports could be hoey, but I believe its coming. The gist is the existing award chart would exist no more. The chart might be transformed into one with more/different types of tiers or maybe the award chart would disappear all together and award cost would be based on some algorithm.

You'd say I want 1 J award, LAX-SYD-LAX, Dates X, Y and press "search" ... and hocus/pocus ... you'd be told it cost ABC miles. ABC could be based on number of seats available or on the $ cost of that flight or ?????? ... and it would change from query to query.

... its all speculation now, but rest assured, for holder of miles it'll be all bad.
