Aeroflot: FCO-TYO-LON £221.40 AI

Just saw this posted on the Hot UK Deals board (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/flig...edia-1174900): FCO-TYO-LON £221.40 AI

It's for mid-week departures in Sept-Nov, with a change of planes in Moscow. I'm not a ST person, so I don't know if this earns miles, and it is Aeroflot, so it might not be appealing to many people, but I thought I would post it just in case.

(This might be a trick-it fare, I'm not sure.)

Return to CDG is also possible, and 10K MQMs for $460 is not bad.

And this is an OJ that dumps YQ so it needs to be moved, even though it probably will be gone along with all the other easily fixable SU dumps in 3 minutes

Been posted before and I'm not too sure AeroFlot cares.

Thank you OP. I'm also not a ST person so won't be using this but your posting IMO is 100% within the spirit of what FT is (or, at least, always used to be). Nothing in the TOS says that this 'needs to be moved' - just a self-appointing group that seems to think they have a monopoly on good FD deals.

Ignore them, OP, and please keep posting.

Exclamation

Note that the updated information on the forum sticky says:

Note: If a fare is bookable on a normal booking site without routing tricks and fulfills the criteria for a MR Deal fare, set out above, it can be posted in MR Deals - even if it's an inadvertently 'tricked' fare. Remember, ALL tricks discussion MUST be in the Trick It thread.

I actually took this trip and just got back. I agree with the fact that Aeroflot doesn't care since it's been around for three months. And I see some dates in the fall where you can book the return to CDG for $320 ai for about .03 cpm. The fare works for days departing on a Wednesday and returning on a Sunday or Tuesday I believe.

It seems that it only works with TYO, but not the other C3 cities

Yes, that was the routing. You could also leave from some other EU cities for close to the same price. However, I don't know if this fare is even still there!

I don't know, but I would guess not.

Does this need to be tricked? I can only get a 689$ trip.

FCO TYO - TYO LON was there for a while at 270 euros for Sep 25 - Oct 1st, but it has gone up now. Don't have to trick it just to a multicity. Looks like 350 euros now which is still a good deal. You can play with the return city a little also (CDG / AMS).
