Ijust booked UA: IAH-SFO-SIN, SIN-HKG-EWR-IAH in Oct. (there are quite a few days in Oct. for around $900+ for aroun 20K miles.:D

Nice find! Looks like this fare is available in November too. Looks like DL has a similar fare at $987 r/t. AA isn't bad at $1,150 r/t.

I like it but also there has been some decent fares to HKG floating around. AC has a sale at something like 15% off so I picked up IAH-YYZ-HKG for 820. at 18k miles I think it is a similar value and personally much prefer HKG to SIN.

Sigh, yet another fare that doesn't work in reverse, can't seem to get anywhere near $900+ for SIN-EWR-IAH-SFO-SIN or SIN-SFO-IAH-EWR-SIN.

This doesn't appear to work for a quick MR. If the stay is < 2 days the fare seems to hike up to $6k :(

International fares rarely if ever "work" in reverse.

The moxie? Pretty sure they cancel your remaining legs if you don't fly the first leg on the ticket...

also don't have the Moxie to change my current trip to include the 1x....pushing my luck with the wife since finding FT...
