Ironically most of these are KLM/AF flights that accrue no MQMs ... but are still operated on Delta aircraft.

I was able to book a nice, yet impromptu, anniversary vacation for the family to Stockholm from San Francisco. $572.90 each for 3 tickets. Positioning flight was $464 each but I used up $976.5 in eCredits. Got 2 free hotel nights in Stockholm so only had to pay for 5 hotel nights at the Hilton. Considering getting their large suite to splurge because the rest of the trip was so inexpensive!
Oh, and we get a 747 over and 380 back!! This will be my first foray on the 380 and first for both aircraft for my wife and 8yo daughter. Can't wait until she gets to see just how big those planes really are (she has grown up flying in two Cirrus aircraft I owned)! :-) |
AF V earns 0% on AS. :(

For a party of three, I can see the picking the bigger plane for 3-middle-3 across. I booked a simple SNA-MSP-AMS-GOT and same back on Delta in early November. Other routings yield more miles, but I went for convenience. |
Still lots of availability Sept onward.
What's the fall weather like in SW Sweden? How about the Thanksgiving time frame? |

Interesting. I can get SFO-GOT to price out on ITA for $578 but dl.com gives it to me as an X fare on the way out and a V fare on the way in, raising the price to $800. Anyone have any ideas?

Couldnt get it on google flights either, looks like ITA was using cached data. got it to work for other dates. Plus booked it SFO-JFK-CDG-GOT-AMS-CDG-SFO.
The beauty in this was the fare rules say: [KVS Availability Tool 7.3.5 - Booking Classes: SFO-GOT/AF-DL/VKPR3US/112 USD] Code:
SFOGOT-AF 13APR14 *BOOKING CODE DISPLAY* LINE 001 |
