for the one above you could just call and tell them the exact flight numbers then ask how much. it should price out what it says on ita. if you dont have status on ua and they are going to charge you just ask them to waive the fee as you tried to book it on the website and it wouldnt work.

what did work for me on united.com was 2 separate 3 leg multi city bookings. just plug in the exact days and times for the 3 outbound and book that, then the 3 return separately.

the prices wont look right at first, like one leg on the return will say 1200, but just choose the flight numbers below and when it finishes they will pop out at 101.90 for the return and 103 and change (or something) for the outbound.
