On that note, am I crazy to consider a same day turn:

with 1:10 between flights? How close are UA/AA in SEA?

but it is OK, all of us here are.... Answering; close and since you only have carry on and status to go through express lines you should be OK unless one flight is delayed....

Only issue would be if your inbound flight is late. Mixing different airline alliances is kind of interesting but everyone has their own grand master plan. Enjoy your MR.

Well the fare is one-way, and only UA is available outbound, and only AA on the inbound, and since I'm going to be a bit short this year on both of them...
