It shows as K class from JFK to JNB which is 70% EQM and JNB-DUR is 50% EQM on UA.... so not good for UA account... not sure about others

UA K earns 100%.

But this is an SAA codeshare, so its their booking class that matters for accumulation.

So the question is: what does UA K map to on SA?

100% RDM, 70% EQM. 50% for both on the short segment JNB-DUR.

UA K doesn't necessarily map to SA K. It might, it might not.

Where did you find those numbers? I just checked the UA website and this is what I found under SAA flights, so I would hope UA K maps to a SA K:

Economy Y, B, M, K, H, S, Q: 100% base miles 150% EQMs 1.5 EQSs
