Berghoff café in ORD

Is it me, or does the Berghoff by gate C30 have the SLOWEST MOVING line of any place in the entire airport, possibly the world? I spent 15 minutes in line and moved a grand total of 2 feet forward.

Just needed to vent.

You would have enjoyed the original Berghoff. The waiters hustled like Olympic sprinters (especially M-F lunch) because they understood the word "turnover" meant more cashflow (tips).

It's still there, isn't it? OP: in the Loop, not at ORD. I think it's been around for over a hundred years.

I don't know about the Berghoff, but every time I'm at ORD I have to go to Chili's - If for no other reason than to laugh at how incredibly rude the servers are. Each time is worse than the last. Last go-round I actually laughed out loud.

It has "reopened", but it's not the same.

You and I go for different reasons. I go b/c it's the only place to eat in terminal 2. I like sitting to eat instead of lugging another baggie around and spilling my drink all over the airport.
