Caribbean American Baking Company - far north side Chicago, almost Evanston
Caribbean American Baking sells terrific beef patties. SPICY beef mixture in a golden-brown flaky pastry foldover. Quite delicious and only $1.45 apiece.
Also had the jerk chicken. Chicken was very moist/flavorful but there was not enough jerk sauce to get really excited about it.
Also had a sweet treat called a coconut drop. 1/3” cubes of coconut held together by a ginger tasting brown sugar syrup mixture. Almost had mine gone before I got home to my wife for dinner.
Take out only. Also present were Ting and other Island drinks.

my clients at the Cubs game today were treated to some Jamaican Beef Patties as opposed to the junk served at Wrigley.
Cubs win, great beef patties, beer and Wrigley. What a combo!
