Some may not agree with Arnold's ideas, but I can second his love of Mozart's. One of the most incredible bakeries I've ever been!! I was in CMH a week ago for a meeting and arrived an hour early just to get a Napoleon fix. They even make marzipan tasty. The Austrian Peach is unreal. There are additional locations, but High St. (north of Campus) is the original.

Stumbled across this thread days before a CMH trip.

With all the hype I wanna check out Mozart's, too! However, I'm really skeptical about the marzipan thing. I've tried that stuff - as others were smacking their lips over it - and it was a No Go for me. :td:

I lived in CMH for three years. I would say the thing to do in CMH before you die is to move.
I'm sure this will offend people but I couldn't take the dark dreary winters and hot humid summers. There are only a couple weeks of nice weather a year.

I wonder if we lived there at the same time ;) I was there '93-'97. Lived there the year NU went to Rose Bowl. Got yelled at by neighbors for working in my garden instead of being inside watching OSU play football. Put up my NU flag instead.

I would add a visit to the Thurber museum.

I'll be in CMH overnight on an MR... can someone point to all-night hangouts? 11:45pm-5:45am.

CMH is a midwestern, family-oriented city. Plus, local laws don't allow for all-night bars. Closing time usually around 1AM, 2AM?

This time of year there's only one thing worth doing in Columbus and that's watch Ohio State lose --- but not to Michigan because that game's in Ann Arbor

I would put seeing the state capital on my list --
