It's too cold...restaurant recommendations?

Other than staying indoors and making chili, any recommendations for Chicago food (comfort) or otherwise that is worth treking out into the cold for??? FWIW, I'm in Old Town

I'm here in Chicago for the week (amazing, but then again, I better get my a** on a client).

I really like this place:

On Monday evenings, in addtion to the regular menu, they are offering a buffet full of comfort food (think peach cobbler...)

I agree, Stanley's is the place to go for comfort food in Chicago. In fact, now that I have been thinking of it, I may head there tonight.
