Just wondering if approx 2.5hrs (best case scenario, no delays) is enough time to collect luggage, check into next flight and enjoy a little time in the First class lounge in DOH?

I've used Qantas points to obtain a LGW-DOH flight on BA arriving at 23:50, and used Velocity points for a first class flight on QR from DOH-PER leaving at 02:35 the next morning. As they are obviously separate tickets, (and my understanding is that BA will refuse to check my bags all the way through to Perth), I'm trying to work out if it would be possible in this shortish amount of time to self transfer, but also enjoy my first time in a First class lounge.

Otherwise, if I just take hand luggage, what is the process? Do I just go to the transfer desk and they will help?

Seeing that BA2033 is rarely on time, I'd personally go hand baggage only on this one. You could easily end up parking at a remote stand and not be in the terminal to clear immigration unti after 1 am which would make it very tight with having to recheck your bag.

If you go hand baggage only you can either go to the transfer desk before transfer security or hopefully even check in online and avoid that entirely, and just go through the transfer security and then over to Al Safwa for some food and drink.

I'm looking at booking an Avios award SEZ-DOH on Qatar, then self connect to Turkish Airways from DOH-IST. My connection time is 2 hr, 45 minutes. Does anyone have any recent data points? What's the chance of miss? Carry on luggage only, we'll be in the front of the plane. Thanks in advance.
