The rule is one can only have an instant prize ONCE. So if you have won 50pt on Day one, then all you would "win" is the Sweepstakes entry for the rest 28 days.

Marriott - you are so unbelievably cheap. You had an opportunity to apologize for the last 2 months of hell you've put most of us through, and this...?
I manage the Marriott accounts for 10 family members. Today, a big 0 for 10. That's right, not a single account out of 10 even won 50 points.
This is not how you build, or rebuild loyalty... smh

One does have to laugh about Marriott giving away single 25 cent prizes. And the 29000 points for 29 stays is also laughable, especially considering that Protea hotels are only in Africa. 290000 would have been stingy IMHO, although I suppose anyone going for this is going for the challenge not the points.
I bet Marriott could have generated some real excitement and good will by generously gifting prizes. Seems like they missed an opportunity here.

I suppose I should consider myself one of the lucky ones having won 1,000 points on day one and have no need to waste my time on Marriott's website again for the rest of the month, then!
I should have known there would be some ridiculous catch to the promotion, nothing Marriott has done since they acquired Starwood has changed my incredibly poor preconceived view of Marriott corporate yet.
