Missing stay request: "Undeliverable", because Marriott's mailbox is full?!?
What the heck?
I had a stay almost two months ago where I was credited only a tiny fraction of the points that I should have received.
I've since sent two emails to Marriott Rewards requesting corrections ... using this form on their website: https://www.marriott.com/marriott/contact.mi
The first attempt: I sent an email via that form on Tuesday, August 21 -- about four weeks ago. I received an auto-reply acknowledgement in my email, but - in almost a month - absolutely no reply. The second attempt was last week: Wednesday, September 12. Ditto. Auto-acknowledgement received, but no reply.
Today, frustrated, I tried sending it in as a "missing stay request" via this form on their web-site: https://www.marriott.com/rewards/myA...StayRequest.mi
I received an immediate response, sort of, in my inbox:
to xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly.
You have got to be kidding me. This is absolutely ridiculous.
I get that the program merger hasn't gone well. And I get that their customer service staff are overwhelmed because of it, and because of a total lack of proactive communication to members about the merger.
But no replies, followed by a "mailbox full" error? Unbelievable.

Add it to the list of wonderful screw-ups as part of the merging of the programs. Doesn't surprise me considering how long the phone wait times have been so people likely trying to email. They are so screwed up!

one could also just buy more storage from Microsoft (since this is clearly an Office365 account) - not that more storage would result in more responses - contacting this "we don't care about customers" organization is pretty futile no matter what.
