When are Pointsavers released?
The current listings go through Sept. '09 and I am interested in October '09
Any historical timeframe? |
Now. Where are you looking?
Of the approximately 120 pointsavers listed over 70 are available through October 2009 or later: http://www.marriott.com/rewards/marr...PointSavers.mi |
Sorry-The RC pointsavers are the ones I am intersted in.
|
In that case I would guess around Sept 19. The July 1-September 30 ones came out June 19 according to this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...s-no-maui.html

Good Afternoon,
The Ritz Carlton summer point savers are available to September 30, 2009. I have asked when a new list for the fall Ritz Carlton point savers will be available. I will let you know when I receive that list. The Marriott Hotel point savers work a little differently. All hotels are given the opportunity to select the dates when they would like to offer point savers. It could be for a certain week or for longer or shorter periods of time. While the Ritz Carlton point saver reward codes change with whatever season they are offering, the Marriott Hotels point savers remain as the same reward code throughout the year. That is why you see on the website the many different dates that hotels are offering point savers and the difference with expiration dates. I will let you know when I find anything out on the fall Ritz Carlton point savers. Regards, Kate |
RC Fall 2009 PointSavers Rewards are now available
Valid October 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009. But not for the dates I want. Not surprising really since it is Grand Cayman over Thanksgiving. |
I went to the site and Texas is listed under the country section. Texas pride baby!
|
Thanks for the heads up AAupgrade^

You're welcome.
FYI - Grand Cayman RC now has PS availability for Thanksgiving period, or at least they did a week ago. |
Marriott Point Savers
As a Lifetime Platninum, I am confused how to use a Point Saver Award. Last week again, there were non available on line for hotels in Houstron (38). I called the Reward line and they said non were avaiable at this time. This is not the first time I have tried only to get the same answer. Had not used this award in over 25 years. They promote but they dont deliver. Anyone have any luck finding point savers?

If you want to find point savers for a specific location, you'd have to be incredibly lucky. The way to find point savers is to look up what's available and THEN decide where you'd like to travel to. Currently you can book point savers in Florida, California, Aruba, Germany, Thailand, United Kingdom, etc etc etc. |

Pointsavers are around quite a bit in Europe esp during winter weekends, indeed sometimes it seems as if most of the Uk is on Pointsavers.
This weekend pointsavers are available in the UK at BexleyHeath, Waltham Abbey,Huntingdon, Leicester, Maidstone, Norwich, Peterborough and Portsmouth. Maidstone, Norwich and Portsmouth are all pretty surprising as the first 2 are country clubs where one would expect pretty strong weekend demand from fairweather golfers like myself who are mostly in it for the sun and 19th hole, whilst Portsmouth is a historic city with lots of tourist attractions in the summer... Almost all my redemptions have been in the UK and have been pointsavers. They seem quite easy to get hold of to me... |
