on this page alone (pg 2) there is more discussion about the phrasing of the question and title than there is about the MC; to me that wordsmithing is all about being PC, two different points of view I guess

Maybe the MC can answer some of the questions brought forward? I think it will go a long way in getting a better understanding of what to expect or not.

Hello,

Marriott wants to provide the Flyer Talk forums with a presence that can help to answer questions, provide direction for customer service issues, and correct any wrong information given about the Marriott Rewards program.

The Concierge Team currently consists of 3 people. All of us have other work responsibilities so this is not a full time position. There will be days where we are unable to log on (i.e. weekends, holidays). We consistently review the FT forums to see if anything needs to be addressed, as well as, handle any PM’s that come our way.

We will work to get answers back to you as soon as we can. There are times when questions may be outside of our area of expertise and we will need some time to locate the correct answer.

thank you for taking the time to respond and clarifying some points. I want to make it clear you and the rest of the MC team are very much welcomed here :)

Can I suggest when there are questions or concerns outside your expertise (I appreciate you want to give accurate information) would it be possible if you can acknowledge the question/concern and that you will need some time to respond? I ask because from a members point of view it appears as if the question still appears without a reply and gives the impression nothing is being done.

Also can you answer any questions about future promotions? Or can you only comment on currently running promos?

We will definitely try to make a post to let you know when we are looking into something, in fact that has been done in the past.

We are only human, so if you find that there is a thread that we may have missed; send a PM to help direct our attention to it. Also it may be a topic we didn't realize needed our input.

As for promotions, we do sometimes have advanced information; however, will not be able to post any proprietary company information. We will let you know about things as soon as it can be announced.

The OP has clearly stated that she never had the intent of rating anyone or anything, took advice to re-word the topic when some found it offensive, and has done so. The M C's have responded to the post; AND have indicated that they never took offense to begin with. (I have a copy of that PM should one choose to read it, ask me). The last 15 out of 17 messages (roughly) have nothing to do with the post query! Mods, would you please consider closing this thread? The M C's are certainly getting nothing of value out of it, and their response to the OP is posted.
