Thermostat Does Not Work
 
I am staying at the La Concha, A Renaissance Resort here in SJU. In my room, the thermostat is completely out of order thus leaving me without the ability to change temperatures. I reported this to the hotel and they said to call them when I want the temperature changed. I did this once and it took an hour. Should I report this to customer care? compensation? I am really getting tired of a freezing room all through the day and night and being told that there is nothing they can do just to "call them EVERY SINGLE time I want the temperature changed."

I'm not into the entire "compensation?" thing but I'd ask to change rooms. If that didn't work I'd check out and find another hotel.

I'm with annerj...this isn't rocket science, ask to change rooms...if they're sold out and nothing else around change hotels...from your profile you're in 3 other hotel programs...

A cold room is not very enjoyable. Personally, I would ask to change rooms (as others have mentioned). I hope everything works out for you. :)
