No way could they hold op responsible for this. I agree getting it fixed was "the right thing" but to worry that if you don't check your nights and notice their mistake.....how is that op's responibility? I think your word would still hold proper weight...and they would have noticed it anyway-you did the right thing. :)

Yes, but you did have fun while it lasted.

Look at it this way, if one had a pile of missing stays, they'd adamantly call and get it corrected. So one could argue on behalf of the opposite as well. But your alturistic decision was also made easier by the fact that you are already platinum. Otherwise, it might have been soooo tempting to roll the dice and see if snake eyes ever come up.

Maybe at least Santa Clause took note of what you did. :)
