Look Up Reservations Still Down

I can't believe Marriott has not fixed this yet.
I have e-mailed Web Support a few times and was told this was part of the changes and only happend to a few Plats., but a week and still not fixed.

Anyone else seen or heard anything else on this.

I'm still down as well - it's been two weeks. Repeated phone calls to both Web support and plat support have done no good. How hard is it to backup a revision in software? Next step will be to call WHQ.

I've started having intermitent problems. If I sign out and sign back in, all works well. I have no idea if this will help you or not, but it works on this end.

It's very consistant for me ...

I just tried 10 times - lots of different ways - to no avail. Marriott Web support offers no work around.

I broke down and called Marriott Corporate - Exec offices.

Doubt it will help - but it's driving me crazy.

I have lots of reservations, I tend to make multiple one night reservations if I'm not sure how long I'm going to stay in a particular city - locking in the rate that I like and know that I can cancel the beginning or end of a stay without it getting "re-priced."

And I have lots of cancelled reservations - find lower fares, date changes and even switch hotels on occasions.

I can't remember what all is coming up. I've got hundreds of email from [email protected] all detailing my reservations and cancellations. Some of my reservations (for next week, for example) were made nearly 11 months ago. So, finding that reservation among all those emails would take patience.

This is not the Marriott I’ve come to love and expect! The fact that it affects only a “few” Platinums does not make me feel any better, as long as I’m in that group!

Welcome to my two week nightmare...don't even bother calling anyone...I have called Mr. Marriott's office, tech support, platinum desk...you name it...I even begged them today to just give me a new account so I could just see my reservations...this is ridiculous...I am beyond words at this point...

I too have had NO luck for more than two weeks. The Platinum Elite line essentially confirmed that Marriott had NO idea why the res look-up feature was not working. A bit scary that a company with their resources can't get this issue behind them pronto. We'll see how they finally resolve this...but I'd have to think that their head of MIS must be having a few sleepless nights.

Hope this problem isn't the same as the problem I started having. About 6-9 months ago, I could no longer review 13 months of activity with the account statement feature. It seems to only be getting worse...now can only see 5 months. After months of calls, numerous faxes, etc...still having problems!

Good luck getting anything fixed...

Based on the number of posts, this seems to be a very isolated problem. I have had absolutely no issue as of yet.

Same here, I have had absolutely no problems at all.

Perhaps the problem is on your ends. Those who are encountering these problems please post the browser you are using and the ISP you are using when this occurs. This may well shed some light on a possible causes.

Yes, but if you were in the small group affected (like I am) you would not like it.

Definitely not on my end, my account has the problem of recent activity, my wife's does not. Her actually has the problem with Look up future reservations, mine does not. Web support has recreated the problem and confirmed that both problems are related to the account.

aaupgrade Apr 4, 2006 6:12 pm

Well I guess that blows my theory out the window. All the best on getting it resolved.

IrieDame Apr 4, 2006 8:53 pm

Yes definitely not the browser...I can look up someone else's reservations on my computer just not mine...it is a nightmare...

Internert Customer Care just assured me that this will be fixed in the overnight this evenning. They said it had somehting to do with one of the reservations in the list having a different name than teh Rewards name (mine). I will wait and check tomorrow.

YEA! They're BACK!

Finally, I can see my reservations again!

Please, no more "improvements!"
