Appreciate your relaying the guest service's heads-up. Very helpful. I had stayed away from this property for several years due to a major complaint being totally ignored by the then hotel mgmt. Maybe it's time to forgive and forget.

By the way, I am thinking of using a B1G1 Free cert on an M11 rate at this hotel -- I believe that I read that others have been able to do this without any issues. Correct?

Thanks!

I had just completed a stay 2 weekends ago (Checkout was 9/1/07) at the Marriott Gateway. Only the Healthy Start breakfast is complimentary; however, if you get the hot breakfast (American buffet), you will pay the difference between the Healthy Start buffet and the American stye buffet of about $4.

I have used the B1G1 certificate with the M11 rate everytime, and I still receive a BB at checkout. Although, the last stay that I had, the front desk clerk indicated that the would have to mail it. After inquiring last week, the Gateway called me on Thursday and told me that they would mail it.
