Buick Test Drive $100 Cert. is back...

Just noticed an ad off http://www.yahoo.com

It's a new one.

Deadline for certificate to be received is 5/16/05.

So, check it out.

I don't see any add or link for buick when I used your link to yahoo.com

The ads on my Yahoo page changes.

I'd keep checking back.

The newly listed promo seems similar to the one, which had just ended, but with different end dates.

I am not 100% sure if you would get a 2nd certificate if you did the earlier test promo.

I just fired off 2 emails (one to Buick and the other to Marriott) to see if someone can give an answer. Buick states it might not answer each and every email they receive. Hopefully, Marriott will be able give us one.

So, stay tuned...

Thanks for looking into this. Would be nice to be able to do this twice!

Does the dealer put the same code on the form they did last time? ;)

Looks like the buick dealers are going to get busy again. :p

Bad news...

What a bummer...

The Marriott folks said No. Only 1 certificate per household. So, those who did the test drive last time would not get a 2nd one. :(

Thank you, Marriott and Buick!

Horray...for those that missed out on the last promotion like me! I am really to test drive a Buick for my BB!!!

Interesting. I thought that way but I just got an email from Buick. They offered me $100 BB for the test drive and an additional $500 off of a Buick if I buy by 4/30. My name and address are preprinted on the form. The form is the same as last time but has the additional $500 buy offer on it. I'm sure they got my email address off of the last test drive offer.

They are calling this a dream weekend private test drive. They say the test drive lasts 30 minutes.

The fine print does say 1 per household.

Why would they send this again if they knew I did the first one?

I hope the Buick folks won't be hounding me for years to come.

I was at a Seattle Mariners game a few years ago when they were having a contest to win a PT Cruiser. My son and his buddy said "Come on, Dad. Enter the contest. This is so cool!" I then filled out the sweepstakes card and put it in the box.

For the next two years, I got routine calls from Trendswest Resorts offering me timeshare opportunities. Since then, the DoNotCall.com registration seems to have taken care of them.

Hopefully, I won't regret the Buick Marriott Bonus Bucks participation.

I'd REALLY like one of these certificates but I'd feel so guilty participating if I knew I weren't in the market to buy a new car. :( I figure if the salesman is spending time on me and I have no plan to buy a car, he or she is losing time with another customer who might purchase a car and the salesman would have a smaller paycheck that week. How else can I get my hands on 2 of these certificates (other than buy them on Ebay?)

Thanks!

Do what most of us have done - go is and be up front that you doing this for the cert, you are not in the market. The salesman will most likely sign the form and not require the test drive. If so - you both win - little time for salesman/cert for you. If you are required to test drive you can do so with no concern.
