How else can I get my hands on 2 of these certificates (other than buy them on Ebay?)

Thanks!

I would just go to the dealer and say I'm here for my Marriott Bonus Bucks. It was reported back during the February promotion that many of the people didn't have to do a test drive. They just filled out the certificate and were on there way in 5 to 10 minutes.

How busy can a Buick salesman really be? They aren't exactly the most trendy cars (Apologies to buick owners and salespeople ;) )

Back in December, I was shopping for a car for my wife. I was surprised by the high ratio of sales people vs. customers. There were often 10 sales people just standing around doing nothing. Who knows, maybe they will dazzle you with their magic and you will have a new car sitting in your driveway.

The dealership was a zoo last month!

The promotion ran over Washington's Birthday weekend. The dealership I visited that Saturday was packed with salesmen and customers, it was crazy. :( A greeter came up to me and asked if she could help me and when I told her I was there for the Marriott promotion she asked if I had an appointment. When I said no, she pointed to a waiting area and told me someone would be with shortly. There were 3 other people over there waiting as well. A couple was out on the "required" test drive with the only salesman able to handle the promotion. The next guy in line was there for almost an hour, so I bagged it and left. :td: Glad they are doing it again, I'll visit a different dealership and see if it goes better this time.

RIP....

When will I get my coupon?

After I mail in the certificate, how long does it take to get the coupon? Is planning to use the certificate for a weekend trip in May reasonable?

The salesman might get some small amount of compensation or "credit" for the promotion. I was up front about it and they didn't seem to mind.

I missed out on the promotion the last time, and I'm glad to jump in on it this time around. I approached the receptionist saying, "Hello, I'm here for a test-drive, but I'm not in the market to buy a new car at this time. I'm really here because I want the 100$ bonus bucks."

The receptionist got on the salesguys and I overheard them say, "well, the other guys usually just signs it." he said, "well, I'll just do what the other guys do, I don't care."

After filling out the form, he said, "Thank you for being honest and upfront with me."

Now I hope that I actually get the certificate. I've been 2 for 3 on test drive deals (Got the 50$ Amazon GC for TDing a Volks Passat and got the $50 target GC for TDing a Saturn, but didn't get 50$ GC for a Ford :( <-- and there is no phone number or website to follow up the mailing)

I printed my copy from the web page, and brought it in to the dealer last night. The salesman asked if we would just like it signed or did we want to take the test drive?

Great guy

Won't work for Canadian... :(

I received mine on Saturday. Keep an eye out for it. It looks like a credit card solicitation so it might be easy to overlook and discard.
