SpringHill Suites Frankenmuth, MI
My first stay at a SH after about 25 years as a MR member, and it was a pleasant surprise. Traveling with the family (wife and two boys) we booked two connecting suites, but seeing the spaciousness one suite probably would have sufficed. The suite worked extremely well for our needs. Fridge and microwave were handy for dealing with baby formula and feeding items. Plenty of space for the crib as well as room for our teen to hang out when he was not in his suite.
As pleased as we were with SH, we were even more pleased with this property. All special requests (crib, extra pillows and towels) were handled by the hotel before arrival...something that most FS properties get wrong 9 times out of 10. Not having a requested crib in the room before arrival is one of my pet peeves when traveling with the family. SH Frankenmuth succeeded on all counts.
Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Location is great, with easy walking distance to the main Frankenmuth attractions and shopping. A real gem!
