Difficulty getting emailed statements from Marriott?
Just wondered if others have difficulty getting statements emailed when you stay at a Marriott property (including Ritz Carlton)? When I stay at Starwood or Hilton, my statement is usually emailed to me pretty much instantly when I check out (sometimes even before). But at every Marriott property without exception, the statement arrives 2 or 3 days after checkout if at all, and usually requires a call to the hotel's accounting department.
Do others on here have the same experience, or if there is some trick that I am missing? They absolutely have my email on file, and I have the app on my iPhone but it doesn't allow you to look at statements

Some hotels (JW Marriott Essex House, HNL Marriott, a couple of Autographs) don't seem to automatically email statements. Not sure why that is. In some cases, you can download them from MR.
I've never had any issues with CY or regular Marriotts on the mainland.

Getting these and/or reservation confirmation emails has been a hit or miss for me in the past years. I asked Marriott for help and got a long list of email addresses I was supposed to add to my address book. Absurd as I have no spam blocking. I gave up.

FWIW in my case all of the missing statements are domestic, and all are at regular Marriotts or Ritz Carltons.

I assume you have your profile set to have efolios emailed to you?
I almost always get one. On the rare occasion that I have not received the efolio an email to customer service has gotten one sent.

Folios for stays booked on conference rates, it sometimes takes awhile. Even when you individually pay.

I consider getting a Marriott folio within 2-3 days the best case scenario. There's a thread in here from earlier this year when the folios were taking >1 week. Still baffles me why it takes so much longer than any of the other hotel chains.

@Flightrisk, I agree. It just doesn't seem that hard. Still waiting on my statement from a checkout last Friday! And my profile is set up for automatic emailing of the statement.

I get email statements typically 2-3 days after checkout. Various Marriott brand properties domestically. I've notice that Marriott's statements are sent close to time points are posted for the respective stay.
Hyatt email folio is same day, within hours of check-out.

National Car emails theirs after I drop off the car and before I get inside the airport terminal. How hard can it be?

Starwood also emails shortly after checkout. I sure hope after the merger, Marriott picks up Starwood's email folio functionality.

The statement emails I do get are 2-3 days after the stay, like everyone else here. The ones I don't get are usually from stays where I used a combo of cash and points (not the new program, but rather the option that's been around for a while where you pay points for one night and money for another.)

I used to get email folio on a regular basis but my last 2 stays (over a week ago ) haven't been sent.
