Anyone else get this? I can't figure out the errors, but I got the 500 point bonus.

"Due to a systems error that affected some of our hotels in early January, you were not credited with all of the points you should have received. The issue has now been resolved and all points for these stays have been correctly credited to your account. As a gesture of thanks for your patience and loyalty to Marriott RewardsŪ, a Delayed Posting Bonus of 500 points has also been credited to your account. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.

You can view your account activity by visiting us at http://www.Marriott.com and clicking on "Sign In to My Account" or by contacting Marriott Guest Services at 801-468-4000."

I know there was an issue for certain hotels where the stays/points wouldn't post. For the first several weeks of January, I had to call in each week to have the stay posted (it wouldn't do it automatically even though it was under my rewards account). I'm not sure if that's what they're referring to or not.

As for me - It appears that I received the 500 points mentioned above...but I did not receive any other adjustments to my account.

I received this email as well. I know I had an issue with the Marriott in Orlando. It took over 3 weeks to post. Upon speaking with Marriott Corporate, a select number of Marriott hotels were having issues posting points to the accounts. They issued me a courtesy point bonus at that time, so kind of surprised to see I received this today.

It was a known issue though, so you probably stayed at one of the hotels that had problems of posting points automatically. The hotel you stayed at though may have been smart enough to know they could manually post the points.

Same here. Account went up ~10K points with the extra 500 though.

Same here. I didn't have any missing stays issues, so I assume it was an issue calculating base or bonus points.

I got 500 points. There was an issue with delayed posting in January. I had one or two delayed posts, but the delay wasn't long, so I think this is pretty generous. Here's the thread about the issue: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/marri...ing-issue.html

I got the email annd 500 points too, but I can't easily verify if something was otherwise adjusted on my account. I vaguely remember calling twice within the last six months regarding points at two different hotels but both cases were quite idiosyncratic.

In my case, this was just a delay. Everything posted correctly, it just took a little longer.
