I was able to extend category 5 from credit card, but NOT category 4
given as a reward from last spring's megabonus. They said since that
megabonus no longer exists (boo hoo) they cannot extend it. I only
needed 1 week.

Good to know. A friend of mine was going to try & extend two Cat 1-4 certs which expire end of March. Guess he'll need to use them.

That's weird, I have just renewed Mr.'s cat 5 cert from Megabonus last Spring.

I think the reason for not being to extend the cat 4 cert is that they can't do it. When we have extended our certs it stated - global promotion replacement certificate. I guess this would be the same as the Chase certs.
