gift cheques replacement
The representative for the Marriott facebook page has been leaving this as a response for the people who complain about the gift cheque's going away
"We hear you, xxxxx. Thanks for reaching out. In the near future, we'll be offering a new Marriott gift card discount for Elite members."
So it looks like we may be getting a replacement for this lost benefit.

I sure hope this is correct, but given the other devaluations I am not holding my breath.

My marriott stays are definitely down this year. This FORMER benefit doesn't help me want to stay at marriotts in the future. It sure would be nice to see a positive from this program as everything recently appears to be bad news.

But after they axed the BOGOs w/ no notice, they said for almost a year that they'd be coming out with a new program we liked - and then did nothing.
