I'm starting to get a complex about no upgrades at either Munich Marriott properties....and I've stayed at both a half dozen times over the last 10 years. But then again, I have NEVER received an upgraded room using MR's at ANY Marriott. Maybe it's my breath http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif....or the fact I've been Platinum for only the last couple years.

Thanks everyone, I will tell you what they give me when I check in Friday AM. I will definitely make sure I get my comp breakfast... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I quite liked the hotel and the room was a very nice comfortable suite. Defintely worth it to use the C14 certs here. I believe the carpark was around 15euros/day. The breakfast buffet is normally around 15euros/person also and it is complimentary as a platinum...not only that but it is really nice. Large spread of food as well as an omelet bar and make-as-you-eat waffles. |
I just checked in, the exterior is fairly bland, but the hotel itself is great. The reception I got was first rate and I was immediately upgraded to a full suite.
I had asked for information on a couple of tours and a complete package was awaiting me upon check in. ISDN in my room isn't working ... yet, but they immediately began working on it and I expect it to be fixed soon. I can get by with Dial up for a little while.. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Overall I am very very very pleased...... Excelent hotel for 103 euros a nite, considering the ISPO trade show is in town. ------------------ AA member since 1981. |
Update.. high speed is being wired to the rooms but has not been turned on yet. We still have to make due with dial up services and a 1.90 euro connect charge from the hotel.
Now if I can just stay connected... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif ------------------ AA member since 1981. |
