Marriott - Maui
For those planning on visiting the Marriott in Maui, please see the following response about my inquiry to CS about upcoming construction:
Guestroom Renovation will begin May 1, 2003 - October 13, 2003, Heavy construction noise from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, They recommend off property activities be planned during construction hours.

In a related story in this mornings Maui News(12/22) the Maui Marriott(Kaanapali) announced that they will eventually be converting the entire resort to timeshare units, adding an additonal two towers to their property, this is scheduled to be completed sometime in 2008 so this is not the upcoming construction but probably explains the co-branding aggreement they just announced with Outrigger for the Outrigger Wailea property.
