I have only been to Syracuse once, and I believe the Wyndham (formerly the Marriott), Fairfield and Court Yard are all on the same street, correct?

Marriotts that used to be something else...

The Hilton Head Marriott Beach & Golf Resort is the former Hyatt Regency Hilton Head. Hyatt's management of the property ended about a year ago. The address changed from One Hyatt Circle to One Hotel Circle. For some strange reason, the Hyatt web site still shows the Hyatt Regency Hilton Head. (It mentions, "Note: Hyatt's Management of the Hyatt Regency Hilton Head will cease at midnight on Jan 10, 2001.") There's even a nice slide show. See http://www.hyatt.com/usa/hilton_head...tel_hhhhh.html

The Durham Marriott at the Civic Center, 201 Foster Street, Durham, NC, was formerly an Omni.

Something elses the used to be Marriotts...

The Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield, 375 South Moorland Road, Brookfield, WI, was formerly a Marriott.

The Sheraton Suites Columbus, 201 Hutchinson Ave., Columbus, OH, was formerly a Marriott Suites.

The Wyndham Colorado Springs, was formerly a Marriott.

Some Courtyards in Germany were formerly Ramada Hotels (e.g. Bottrop).

Marriott San Antonio NW - This property was formerly a Holiday Inn, then was vacant for 2+ years. It converted to a Marriott in 10/01 following a $17m renovation (per sales rep). It's OK, not great - located in the cloverleaves of I-410 and I-10 on the NW side of SAT. Very nice concierge lounge.

About 25 years ago a Marriott opened south of SFO in Belmont, CA. It became a Holiday Inn, then (I think) a Days Inn and now it's a...Motel 6
The Rancho Cordova Marriott (Sacramento) started life about 15 years ago as a Sheraton.
The East Side, NY Marriott was the Halloran House.
And let us not forget the World Trade Center Marriott which, until the 1993 bombing was a Vista.
