How does Marriott count #days when reserving 1+ rooms
I am reserving 2 rooms at the same Marriott hotel using my name and MR account #. Both rooms will be paid by my Visa credit card. Will I get double points and double # days for both rooms? I am wotking toward gold status and want the # nights creditted.

Sdix was very lucky because here is the relevant rule for Elite membership requirements:
http://www.marriottrewards.com/terms/elite.asp
In short: Only nights personally stayed and individually billed at participating hotels are credited toward elite membership and renewal. A member is eligible to receive points for up to two rooms in addition to the member's personal guest room as long as all rooms are reserved and registered in the member's name, and provided the member arranges and pays for them on a consolidated bill, which should be requested at time of hotel check-in.
Answer to Brendas question: Brenda legally earns points for the two rooms, but the second room does not count for Elite membership status (extra: double points, double nights promotion).

my experience is that you would only get credited for 1 room in terms of elite status nights.
