Double Bonus Points Not Posting
 

I've had two seperate stays that did not have my Double Bonus Points post to my account. This accounted for about 15,000 points total, so not a small amount.

I've sent an email to MR CustServ and we'll see what comes about. But, I suggest everyone keep abreast on their stays...

Absolutely keep on top of this. My dbl points have posted at the same time as the regular points - it is not a "sweep" type thing like some airline programs. Also, the dbl pnts and miles are for the SECOND stay - must be pd with a Visa card. Just in case....

Overall I think this is a great promotion - although extending it into Mar 2002 will certainly "dilute" the ranks...

My double bonus points (for my second Marriott stay after I registered for the promotion) also posted at the same time Marriott posted the base points.

Mine did as well.

A couple of weeks ago, I stayed at the BWI airport Marriott for one night and then at a Courtyard in Las Vegas the following night. I had registered for the double point promotion and the double points should have kicked in with the Vegas stay. However, for some reason, that stay was posted before the BWI stay and I got the double points for the BWI stay despite staying there first. Not complaining though, as I got more points for the higher Marriott rate compared with the Courtyard rate.

My bonus points posted along with my regular points roughly a week after my stay....we'll see when my next stays post (ended on Tuesday and then Tomorrow)...

No problems here...posted in 6 calendar days.

My stay at the STT Renaissance from Oct 20 has not yet posted and I have already faxed that stupid missing credit form.

Plenty of mine nights have posted with double/double.

No rhyme or reason...Have not heard from MR CSR yet. Here is a dump of my stays which SHOULD have posted as DOUBLE. I got the the 11/5 stay and on the 10/29 stay, but that is it. All payment with MR Visa.

No major problems here...as I mentioned in my last post, I had a stay last Sunday and Monday in Montreal Renaissance...posted points/bonus point on this past Saturday.

I too am waiting for a REN stay credit to post. Aside from the current excellent double promo, has anyone also received the 1000 extra bonus miles, say on AA by chance?
