Just got my statement...12 nights gets 25,000 points.

Good old Marriott. It must drive them nuts that there is a board here that just lays the endless variations of target marketing right out there. My own: 15 nights 15,000. I am a platinum.

The whole value of so-called target marketing, of course, is that one target doesn't know what the other target is offered. Too bad, Marriott. Thanks, Flyer Talk.

I got another e-mail today with the same offer as last week...10 stays for 10K (Silver).

My wife is a Platinum & got 15 for 15K. BTW, her e-mail said she didn't need to register, it would be credited automatically.

I just received my email yesterday and am currently a Gold member. From what I've read, I was fortunate in being offered 25,000 points for 12 nights.

Last year, my colleage was offered 40,000 points for 15 nights but this year he is only getting 15,000 for 15 nights and he is Platinum.

I do think this promotion is very confusing especially since there is no consistency.

As a PLT with 100+ nights this year, I think the promotion sucks. 15 nights - 15K points, thanks for rewarding my loyalty.

Well, to add one more variation...I got an email, and it's 25,000 points for 8 nights between 12/15/00 and 2/28/01...wonder what I've done right?!

My offer was 30,000 points for 15 nights. I'm Platinum through 1/2002, but just barely staying at that level in 2000 (likely 71 paid nights for the year). I also have almost 600,000 unused Marriott points, if that has anything to do with what they offer.

Got mine and it was 8k for 8 nights between 12/15/00 and 2/28/01. Not much of an incentive now considering what other offers are out there. It seems to me that it must be more difficult for Marriott to track all the different offers than to just have 2 or 3 targeted to the various elite levels. Maybe that's making to much sense or I'm missing something?

i'm platinum, and got 15/15. however, i haven't been staying at marriott as much as i used to. oddly, you'd expect that would result in the 15/40 offer one of the other platinum members mentioned. doesn't make much sense.

No offer made as I am registered for miles!
