Missing Megabonus Certs
 
Checked my account tonight (I had earned two Cat 4 night certs.) They both showed unused--until I recently attached one to a reservation.

Checked account tonight. The unused one is missing. The attached one is now "detached" and vanished. I called Plat Res. They show both certs unused on their side. She mentioned weird system problems today. I told her I would call MR tomorrow to sort out.

Very strange. Might want to check your certs.

Based on several conversations (including one w/Marie here on FT) appears the site is having lots of "issues" this week..they could not get my nights to post manually! Also see thread where rollover nights are appearing and disappearing...

Checking your account is probably smart - as is making a screen shot.

^ Thanks for the information! I was wondering about an e-cert that never appears in my account.

FYI: Had this correct through MR today. Unused cert. is back and the other is attached to the proper reservation.

Mine is still missing :( Wrote to MR CS again - 3 days ago they said the cert will be in my account in 24-48 hrs.

Did you try calling and asking for MR (when talking to reservations)? You might get instant fixes.

I prefer doing my communication in writing, because it's the best result I got when I communicate with Marriott.

Not sure why but everytime we call MR, we got very unfriendly CSR that are very unhelpful (getting to the continental European standard).

I wrote to them earlier today so let's see if they are going to fix it.

I realize this is a separate issue, but has anyone ever had any luck getting these certificates extended by 3-4 months? I am a plat but just curious if others have attempted this. Thanks.
