LNF inconsistency
 

I have in the last 3 days had some successes and a failure at getting LNF to work.

On Wednesday I was successful in getting 2 stays in Phoenix agreed and so reducing the rates down to a very low figure in one case.:D

On Thursday I was unsuccessful on getting a stay in DC in November on the grounds that the comparsion site did not instant book the room for me. The same site was used as a comparsion on one of the wednesday stay.:confused:

So should I feel lucky that they, LNF team, let me have the rate for the Wednesday booking or should I go back and argue that I had a successful claim the day before using that site?

And why is it only NA that you can have voucher bookings for comparsion purposes and not the whole world?

I know of at least one site that offers BOTH instant confirmation ressies and those in which an answer is supplied within 24 hours- all during the same search! Larger cities (such as NYC and DC) seem to have this often - 3 or 4 Marriott'smay be listed as instant confirmation, while others are not. I have a NYC stay coming up where this happened - the hotel I really wanted was not an instant confirmation, so I had to go with a 2nd choice. Perhaps your Wednesday night was instant, while your Thursday was not???
