I disagree, I see no real difference in the speed or functionality between the new and old format of the website, other than this current glitch on IE. I do not find it faster or slower than it was before the change, and there are four or five things which are more user friendly than before (also one or two which are less user friendly than before), there is only one thing that I dislike TOTALLY, and that is that if I start a search, just to gather some info, and it prompts me to sign in, even if I am not going to make a rez, and I do sign in, it wipes out my search and I have to start over again. This one dislike drives me bonkers! |
It is working for me now on IE, where it was not working on IE several hours ago, so I guess they fixed the problem, though it was always working for me on Firefox. Now that I can sign on using IE, I can see what you are saying about the new site design being slower than the old one. It is only slower for me using IE, but Firefox is MUCH FASTER! Try Firefox, you will like it, and it is free!

When I talked to my father this afternoon he said that he could get onto the site fine on my mother's laptop, whose main browser is Safari, but not his computers, where the main browser is IE. He said the cursor was flashing on the IE sites.
I hope the problem has been resolved for everyone. |
I just tested the website using IE7 and it worked ok. I hope this means they have resolved the problem.

I do IT performance management and capacity planning for a living and from a resource utilization standpoint IE just plain sucks.
