The publicly available codes on this thread are working as far as we know. Please note that not every code will work for every property worldwide.

The best thing to do, rather than just posting "I'm staying at (fill in the blank)/does anyone have a code", is to try all the codes first. As such, this thread is not for "cheaper rate" requests.
Note that It's highly unlikely that FTers will find a code that isn't already listed based on a one-off request.

If the code is available at the property, it will show that/rate. If it's isn't available, it will let you know that. Please note that if if one (or more) code is available, only you can determine if the cost savings fits with your budget. If it does, great. If not, you might want to try and see if the property has a local promotion going or if you can use LNF (Look No Further/Best Rate Guarantee) for a better rate. Also note that sometimes a publicly available code may show a higher rate than just a regular booking. Not always, but sometimes.

If you have discovered a new code, please post it in this thread and update this Wikipost. But please, this list is ONLY for publicly usable codes. No corporate or private use only codes please. Thanks!

LOL Exactly. Even calling the police would probably result in the receptionist loosing their job. Could you imagine the negative publicity calling the police on a guest using a SET code would cause? It's not like #Bonvoyed can afford any more negative publicity right now anyways.

You would need quite a pattern of SET abuse - and demonstrable abuse, at that - to get a hotel chain (forget a specific property) to file a claim against you to recover money.

Generally, once abuse is demonstrable, the hotel doesn't honor the rate. They force you to take a hike or pay a higher rate. It's not like they document the abuse and let it simmer until it reaches a certain dollar threshold.

I believe I eluded to an unlikely situation, but I can see if the abuse is discovered to have been going on for a long time (say six months into a nine-month project of weekly stays) the dollar loss can be substantial and more than a slap on the wrist of saying not anymore. Again, unlikely since they might look like a fool for not finding it sooner.

True, although good lord, if you're doing weekly stays at the same place for 6-9 months, I think you'd be able to negotiate your own great discount?

Marriott Tbilisi Georgia Code

Very excited travelling to Tbilisi this April. Have tried the list. Family with 3 adults is challenging on the purse strings. Please give me the code for the beautiful classic Marriot Tbilisi. I’m a member of Marriott now B... doesn’t make much difference especially booking executive lounge and breakfast. Cheers

can anyone please recommend a discount code for San Francisco three night (weekend) in June. An economy style visit is the plan. I was SPG prior and got a lot of use out of the Z*H/Z*R codes of way back. I haven't traveled since the merger and I'm thinking about shelving my plans after getting nowhere on the bonvoy site tonight!

As a point of reference, in my 1500+ nights at Starwood/Marriott and 1000+ nights at Hilton, a large fraction of them on Corporate Rates for clients or other associated companies, I have NEVER been asked to produce a company ID nor have I ever been asked to produce an AAA or AARP card. Now maybe I look honest, but I don't understand what all this fuss is about.

Yes you can get your self screwed using an IBM rate

dont ever try it at the Westin, Fourpoints, SGS these hotels will instantly request the id before arrival via email or request it at check in no exceptions. I had booked 2 rooms once and my friend had to pay rack which was double the price as we could only present one valid ibm business card.

dp
I used to be a Manager in my younger days at Hertz, we told the reps to ask for IBM id's specifically because the rate was under $20 but had a mileage charge. More than once people slipped by and proceeded to drive all over California on vacation thinking they had saved a bunch of money. When they returned the car they often went ballistic when they got the receipt. The mileage charge was not low as IBM negotiate a rate that made sense for low mile trips.

I have many fewer nights ... and have been asked more than once. Is it common ... no, not at all. But when it happens you better have an ID on you or another form that shows your eligibility.

Changes in codes inside Bonvoy app?

Just tried searching with three later corporate code, I see that the app is padding the search with a bunch of zeros and getting a notification that the code is invalid.
any idea what's going on?

Yep, my boss got (sort of) found out at the Marriott Grosvenor hotel in London. Our normal rate was about 360 USD and his "General Dynamics" rate was about 240. He berated us for not using this code (and of course we don't work for General Dynamics). On check in the front desk were quite insistent on seeing id or a business card from my boss. He blagged he didn't have his id or cards with him so they asked him to send an email which he said he would do once in his room. Of course he never did and reception never followed up so he got away with it (but was uncomfortable for him as you can imagine!!)

I presume, if they had been more industrious, they could have stung him for the full rack rate and perhaps even closed his Marriott account down for obvious use of inappropriate code.

I don't use codes that I'm not entitled to but if others want to have a go then fine with me, just be prepared to pay up if you get caught (which I admit is not that likely)
