Sheraton Salta, Argentina [Master Thread]

Starting a fresh as the reviews of this property I found were under the Sheraton group, now retired.

I am wrapping up a 4 night stay. As a Gold I was offered an upgrade to one of the three Club Floors. In these rooms, breakfast is included and from 4pm t o 7pm you can get a sweet or savory snack and a non -alcholic beverage for free at the lobby bar. All rooms, have a great view of the city, and the historic city center is a 15 minute walk away or $2 to $3 Uber/Didi ride away. There is a gym and pool (outdoor) on the property. The food is very good at the lobby bar. I was offered a 4pm late check out on request, but occupancy was low during my stay so YMMV.

My stay cost me 46,500 Bonvoy Poiints or 11, 625 per night. YMMV, but it reinforces my experience that chain hotel points can be of high value if you go beyond the beaten path where most Western tourists visit.

Thanks for this post - brought back good memories from my stay there about 8 years ago. Was a solid option back then already.
