I can be on the site for an extended period of time doing searches etc., and then all of a sudden it goes into error. For the most part if I clear cookies etc., it seems to work?

This also happens to me often. It's frustrating. It's one of the Marriott perks they bestow on you once a while.

Get these ALL the time. I usually give up and come back later.

I waited 10 minutes to get the app to open the reservation I was already in the middle of, yesterday. I wanted to request some items from housekeeping.

Me too. Never have this with any other hotel chain websites.

Its Marriott total crap outsourced IT.

This happens to me frequently as well, especially if I have the website open and doing various searches at different locations... after 10-15 min apparently 'something' times out and then you're stuck in this limbo period where you can't do anything with the website at all and have to wait for the rest of it to time out. Pathetic

My former corporate setup me up with a very stringent VPN. I see variations of 401 errors all the time. My fix is to pause my VPN long enough to log in usually 5 to 10 minutes. Once on I don't have any issues.
