Online check-in and using a different cc to settle final bill
My upcoming hotel reservation can be checked in online now via the app. It shows I have an upgraded suite on the app so would like to check in online to secure it. However I’d like to choose breakfast instead of 1000 points for the amenity and would also like to use a different CC to settle the final bill— can I still check in online?

Absolutely! You can make your welcome gift breakfast choice when you get to the hotel. You can also pay the final bill on checkout with another CC or cash. They usually ask if you want to use the CC on file. You are not obligated to do so.

Agree...I believe I'm always asked both of these things at the desk when I check in online anyway.

Likewise have used the online check-in multiple times and have on two occasions that I can remember settled the bill with a different CC.
