Yes, they do. For this year, I got 30 nights from CCs plus 25 for being Platinum last year. These 55 nights (30 from CCs) allowed me to make my 50 night choice, with which I chose 5 elite nights (and those were deposited within 24 hours).

Thank you everyone for the kind responses. It is very surprising how terrible Marriott Bonvoy Twitter support has been. I even double checked to confirm this information with them and they doubled down and said it is accurate. Every interaction I have had with the Marriott Bonvoy Twitter support thus far has been supremely negative, even for basic inquiries such as this one. So far Marriott Bonvoy Twitter support has either been rude, condescending, or incorrect. Conversely, my phone support experiences have been very pleasant (but unfortunately also far more inconvenient).

I hope this can improve in time.

This is a Marriott Bonv°y information technology (IT) glitch subject to correction at any time, so not guaranteed. But that is how the Free Night Award (FNA) has worked over the past few years.

Keep in mind that there are only a few days in very early January where this might work, for FNAs only. If not chosen before the selection deadline, Marriott IT will automatically give you a five Suite Night Award (SNA) choice, and you could be well and truly Bonv°yed!

So I qualified for platinum for the first time with nights (got is this year due to the Amex Plat offer), has anymore actually used the 40% off bed award? I’m in the market for a new bed and I love the Westin mattresses, anyone think it’s worth it?

I have a friend who has the Westin bed and likes it. I bought the W bed a few years back and was disappointed by it, I thought it definitely wasn't as nice as the beds at Ws actually are (though I also didn't buy the fanciest version of the W bed, and I believe the Westin bed is, or at least was, more expensive than the W bed offered as well). It's hard to truly comparison shop mattresss to say whether the discounted price is better or worse than other options out there, but if you're in the market for a new one and the Westin mattress is in the price and quality range of what you would otherwise be looking at, 40% off is certainly a pretty big benefit.

Just thought I'd have a little smug flex here.

I've just used my two 40k free night awards from 2019 and 2020 for a mid-week stay next week at the Category 6 JW Hong Kong which I think is a great use of them given they have to be used this year and there's little prospect of meaningful international travel around Asia. One of the better HK lounges, a nice outdoor swimming pool, good weather forecast, and I've applied to use SNAs on the reservation as these also need using up this year so let's see (I've applied them to stays at the W, Sheraton Tung Chung, and Renaissance recently without success). Will make a nice free staycation during the holidays. The other choice was going back to the Category 5 Sheraton Tung Chung which also has a nice lounge and I like the adjoining nightlife area but this time the Cat 6 won out.

I'm now 1 night away from reaching 75 nights in 2021. I haven't yet selected my 50 night ACB so far.

Wondering if any folks know what happens when I cross 75 without selecting my 50 night ACB:

1. Will the 50 night ACB go away from my Account Overview page?
2. Will I get prompted for making both the 50 night ACB _and_ the 75 night ACB selections?

Whatever you don’t select SNA’s for both, I made that mistake last year and struggling to use them all I now regret not opting for the FNA at 75 nights.

For 50 nights, I selected 5 SNAs; then I selected a 40K free night for 75 nights. I do not think that I can use 10 SNAs. There has been no success for SNA award so far; much worse success rate, compared to UA’s PlusPoints. 😂😂

3 more stays have pushed me to 77 nights for 2021 and both 50 and 75 night ACBs were then available.

As Segments noted:

Thanks again - this was completely correct.

Agree with both of you.

I was originally thinking of taking the 5 ENCs for the 50 ACB and then gifting Gold to my daughter for the 75 ACB since she's finally moving out into travel opportunities as a newly minted corporate professional.

However, even though she and I discussed this potential selection over a month ago, she still hadn't signed up as a Marriott Bonvoy member. Also, she's not been pushed to travel just yet so it became clear that even gifting her Gold status wasn't going to do much.

Also, by already being at 77 nights for 2021, 5 ENCs wasn't going to move any needles since I'm already LTT.

Here's what I was offered tonight for my 50 ACB choices:

So, without wanting to purchase a mattress even with a 50% discount nor wanting to wait until October for what the 3 charity options might be and not needing 5 ENCs, I selected the 5 SNAs unfortunately. We'll now see how much frustration I get during the next year.

For my 75 ACB options, here's what I was presented with:

So here the choice I think was more clear. Since I wasn't going to to the Gold Status gift and value 1 FNA at 40,000 points much more than the other options, I selected the FNA.

My thanks to all who provided inputs/recommendations and guidance on how the ACB process is currently working.

David
