QPFY rate program

I’ve tried googling what this is out of interest, and did a search on the forum but no results.

Booked a hotel using my employers Marriott portal, and the Bonvoy app displays “QPFY rate program” under the app’s reservation details section in Trips, but if I try QPFY as a code on the website it doesn’t work, and QPFY isn’t my employers corporate code either.

So what is “QPFY rate program”, what does QPFY mean?

QPFY is an Oracle corporate code. Wiser not to use something like this, as it could be interpreted as fraud?

If the employee works for Oracle then how is that considered fraud when booking an eligible rate through the employer’s booking portal?

I’m not directly using it, am going through a portal as I said - it’s what is displayed in my booking when I view the Bonvoy app. If I enter QPFY in as a code in the Bonvoy App or Marriott website though, it doesn’t get recognised.

Is the OP an Oracle employee? Or are codes reused across different companies?

This assumes the the OP is not affiliated with Oracle, obviously. There are already thread(s) about corporate codes and why ineligible people should not use them.

I now have a XPGE rate code showing up on one of my reservations. This is a BRG-approved rate.

Does anyone know what’s the “XPGE rate program”?

not sure why anyone is wringing their hands about the OP's employer, seems pretty clear.

Booked a hotel using my employers Marriott portal, and the Bonvoy app displays “QPFY rate program”
SPN Lifer and yscleo like this.

I agree .. Unless he hacked and their “employee portal” at Oracle looks like he works there 🤓✅
