I recently did it through the United portal. Booked 2 weeks before the stay and points posted 3 weeks after the stay. It was not a prepay rate.

My reservations (with order number and amount) are showing up under the Store Visits tab. But I have already completed the visits and even my Bonvoy points have posted to my Bonvoy account some time ago.

And... assuming that these count towards Loyalty Points?

In my experience, if you book shortly before your stay (say a few weeks) the posting tends to happen correctly and within a week or two of the stay. For bookings made many months in advance, I find they almost never post and require chasing and manual intervention.

So far, nothing. I booked on June 14 for a stay taking place a week later. I checked out on the 24th and nothing has posted. I reached out to AA eShopping "Contact Us" support, and got a reply that it will post after 90 days! Sounds like I'm going to have to work hard to get my points? Ugh.

If you see something like this in your AA eShopping account, you will be fine - although it will take ages.

If you don't... forget about ever seeing the miles as Cartera is a mess for chasing un-tracked transactions.

Yeah, IME hotels have been the least reliable to post. I 've had better luck with close in bookings but it sounds like you didn't. I just put a reminder on my calendar 90 days out to check and deal with it then. It's annoying but not much else you can do.
