Us buxx doesn't affect CA limit as of last week.
I did use my Chase Freedom the day before to load Buxx, so maybe the charge needs to post as a transaction first. Is that what you are hinting at?

yes.. wait until it posts.. so far it posts as a purchase although it reduces the CA limit while it is pending.

Interesting.

I brought my CA down to 0 on my CSP and Freedom, so I'll have to see if my funding to this card is impeded because of that.

I know Chase initially sees it as a CA then as a purchase... Hmm....

I loaded up over the weekend with my Freedoms. The transactions posted today and appear to be normal purchase charges.

Forgive me for my noob question.

I haven't received my US Bank buxx card yet. I logged into my account and don't see any place where I can fund to my account. The status of my card account says 'ready'.

Does it have anything to do with the diff between teen account and parent account? How can I find out whether the login account is for teen or for parents?

You can't load from the Teen account. Only the parent account.
There should be a drop down "Account Activities" and select "Add New Funds"

How exactly do you apply for the US Bank Visa Buxx? I don't see an application on the website.

I applied for another Buxx card and received the following message:

This order could not be processed: A limit violation has occurred.

I interpret "limit" to mean I have too many cards under a single (parent's) SSN. Any ideas on how to get around this?

Without knowing how many "Teen" cards you have, could possibly be a CC limit.

Can someone update the Wiki to reflect USB no longer taking new Visa Buxx applications as of approx mid-February.

Perhaps also add some details about which VBuxx flavors are good/bad with which issuing banks?
