Anyone already done with their Chase Freedom 5% at gas stations?
 

I am finding it extremely difficult here in Seattle for any of the gas station pumps to sell me GC with CC. Anyone already done with the 1500 limit for this quarter?

Think about the % of people having a CC. Among those, think about the % of people having Freedom. Among those, think about the % of people who know about MS. Among those, think about the % of people who actually do MS. Come on, speak up... it's not a big deal :)

Did those who already bought super-secret-nameless-product (SSNP) look up that list floating around showing which places provide level 3 data? There's only one gas station I can go to that doesn't, and I don't know if they even sell SSNP. Does Chase use the available data? I really don't want a cash advance fee.

VGC's still goin strong. My location just picked up the VR's but I haven't bothered with them yet. I typically unload with WM bill pay so GC's are better anyway.

Could anyone share with me their station in the PNW? I have a hard time even finding reloads at drugstores that accept credit.

Same here, please share. Just went around to BP, Family Fare, Circle K, Kangaroo. All were Cash Only for either VR or Visa VGC. Not many more options in my area.

I'm in the same boat- no luck with anything in the ATL area if anyone can PM and help....

If you find any let me know, I'm probably going to get to $1,300-$1,400 on gas, so might just buy a gas GC for later in the year, but would be good to know.

Finished off my 3 Freedom cards today, earlier than planned because I'm worried this thread will lead to the destruction of this MS method.

Just come down to New Zealand. Almost $8/gallon for gas, add the 3% foreign transaction fee (and many NZ places charging 1.5-2% fee for using a CC) and I can assure you I'm well beyond $1500 ;) :rolleyes:.

Why would you even use this card then? You're looking at 5% just in fees! It would be so much better to just put it on the CSP or even the PenFed if you have that....

Ok After much roaming the entire morning in car today I might have found a gas station that accepts Debit cards too purchase GC. Can someone experienced tell me if the freedom card can be used as a debit card? I know the other way round, i.e. debit can be used as credit. But what happens when we use credit as debit? Do we need to enter pin?

Can anyone advise me how I can take advantage of Freedom with this debit card acceptance? Is it even possible?

I am so tired searching for gas stations here, this is my only hope in Seattle area. Please let me know if I can get a workaround this debit/credit thing! TIA :) Much appreciated.
